Systems biology, incorporated?
Article Abstract:
Systems biology integrates all levels of functional information into a cohesive mode to understand complex biological systems in their entirety. Strategies for systems biology vary, but generally come down to some combination of bottom-up data collection and top-down computational modeling simulation, in which known functions and behaviors of biological components are described mathematically and linked into complex models that allow for dynamic interaction of large numbers of variables.

Oligo oligarchy -- the surprisingly small world of aptamers
Article Abstract:
Aptamers are relatively short single-stranded oligonucleotides that assume specific, stable conformations in vivo and bind tightly to very specific protein targets. They have a larger surface area in comparison to small molecules, offering more topological and chemical points of interaction with targets and thus antibody like dissociation constants.
