US to safeguard 'dual-use' biology research
Article Abstract:
The United States (US) Department of Health and Human Services has expressed their concern and the need for safeguarding the legally recognized biological researches, which might have dual-use. The National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) is created, which will be responsible for overseeing and advising established institutional biosafety committees (IBCs) in companies, universities and research centers.
