Task and training requirements analysis methodology (TTRAM): an analytic methodology for identifying potential training uses of simulator networks in teamwork-intensive task environments
Article Abstract:
Task and training requirements analysis methodology was designed to identify potential application areas for use of networked simulations. The technique has been applied to the analysis of US military aircraft simulator networking requirements. It appears to be effective in discriminating tasks that are prone to skill decay, that is critical to mission success, that require high levels of internal and external teamwork and that require additional training support.

Auditory alerts for in-vehicle information systems: the effects of temporal conflict and sound parameters on driver attitudes and performance
Article Abstract:
The two experiments were conducted to examine how temporal conflict and sound parameters affect driver performance and acceptance. Further, the results suggests the need to consider how in-vehicle devices influence drivers' strategic anticipation of high demand situations and with regard to sound parameters, the annoyance associated with highly urgent sound increased workload.

Unobtrusive vehicle motion prediction cues reduced simulator sickness during passive travel in a driving simulator
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to investigate cues that permit prediction of turns during passive movement through a virtual environment. The results indicate that unobtrusive and unreported motion cues may alleviate simulator sickness (SS) in a virtual environment.
