A biomechanical analysis of anterior load carriage
Article Abstract:
The low back mechanisms during front load carriage activities are explored and the effects of load height and walking speed on trunk muscle activity and trunk posture are examined. The results provide insight into muscle activation patterns in dynamic settings, especially (load) carrying biomechanics, and have implications in industrial settings that require workers to carry loads on front of their bodies.
