Teetering towards recovery
Article Abstract:
The bear market afflicting the Philippine stock market has forced many companies to delay their equity offerings. However, many securities analysts believe that there are not many good candidates for stock offerings. The market has not seen any initial public offerings of (IPOs) stock from privatizations in two years, but the Philippine National Oil Co. IPO looks promising. Other IPOs in the pipeline include the Active Group, Macondray & Co., Smart Communications, and WGI Gaisano.
