Tenon makes profit, but share price remains shaky

Tenon Group profits increased substantially in 2003, with figures showing sales growth of 14% to 80.3 million pound sterling and an operating profit over the same period of 8.8 million pound sterling, a rise of 325%. However its share prices were 36p, which is undervalued, as it is actually market capped.

Recruitment in the accountancy sector has increased as confidence returns to the UK market in 2004. David Hughes at the recruitment firm Executive Connections and MD of the ICAEW's recruitment arm CharterQuest stated that the vacancy flow has increased by 40% in comparison to 2003.
