Setting up and establishing an in-house telemarketing program is complex, but it can be done if there is careful planning and sufficient telemarketing experience by the planners. A good manager is essential and must be carefully chosen. The in-house program must be planned, tested and properly implemented. The four most important areas of planning are staffing, employee compensation, employee training and selection of the telephone system.
