The American way
Article Abstract:
Investors in US unit trusts have benefited from good returns in the five years to 1995. Average performance has been better than unit trusts in most other sectors, and trusts specialising in smaller firms have performed especially well. Small firms may continue to perform well, but there are also risks involved in this market. US interest rate rises could affect US stock prices, and UK investors may be better off moving away from US unit trusts into cash.
