Threadneedle blazes the OEIC trail
Article Abstract:
Threadneedle Investments will convert funds it manages to an open-ended investment company (Oeic), creating 23 sub-funds from 38 trusts. Threadneedle manages trusts that Eagle Star and Allied Dunbar sell. The company argues that investors will benefit from lower costs, better performance, and the Oeic structure. Investors are likely to notice little change following this conversion. They can be moved to another fund if they are not happy with the one they have been moved to.
