The law of proportionate effect: the growth of the UK credit union movement at national and regional level
Article Abstract:
A study on the growth of credit unions in different regions of United Kingdom is presented. It was observed that smaller credit unions grew faster. It was also noted that in general, the credit unions that reported above average growth in one period continued to do grow at above average rate in the following period. The study also indicates that smaller credit unions showed greater variability in growth than the larger ones.

Article Abstract:
The intraday performance of returns, volatility, volume and price reversals for the Short Sterling interest rate and FTSE100 stock index futures contracts traded on the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE) was examined. Results showed distinctions and agreements with US investigations and between the interest rate and equity contracts, which have significant theoretical ramifications.
