Thermobaric Hellfire gets production nod
Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin Corporation has announced that the US government has cleared the way for production of the AGM-114N version of the precision-strike semi-active laser-guided Hellfire II missile. The Army has signed a contract worth a little less than $90 million with Lockheed Martin, for the production of 900 AGM-114N MAC missile, the high-explosive anti-tank version, and conversion of 100 HEAT missiles to the MAC warhead configuration.
