Ticket to ride
Article Abstract:
Nigel Addison Smith, an inveterate traveler, has curtailed his wanderlust after becoming CFO of Edbookers as too much of his time is taken up in dealing with accounting regulations. The accounting regulatory environment is making it increasingly difficult for CFOs to operate as there are a number of completely incomprehensible accounting standards coming out which seem to bear absolutely no resemblance to reality and much time is wasted trying to explain it to board colleagues and to institutional investors.
