V-22 Osprey program disputes 'out' call on icing incident

The V-22 Osprey aircraft has come under fire from a watchdog organization but has received a strong defense from a representative of the government's program. The Project on Government Oversight (POGO), a nonprofit organization, has raised questions about the V-22's ability to carry the weight of de-icing system and James Darcy, public affairs officer for the V-22 joint program office for the joint Air Force-Navy-Marine Corps program, has defended the ability of the V-22.

Lockheed CSAR entrant proven in Iraq, Company says

The US Air Force will replace its rescue fleet of HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters with 41 new aircrafts to form its fleet of combat search and rescue (CSAR) helicopters. Lockheed Martin has bid for the contract to supply CSAR aircrafts namely US101, has proven its ability in Iraq.
