Article Abstract:
The innovative dataset of the Australian Bureau of Statistics on the structure of venture capital is used to examine the impact of varied venture capitalist value-added activities such as financial, administrative, marketing, strategic/management on fundraising. The factors that affect fundraising for venture capital funds are also examined.
