The possibility of Pentagon canceling its next-generation Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) puts a big question mark on the prospects of tactical military communication gear market. Congress is considering an $81 billion fiscal year 2005 supplemental spending measure that includes funds to buy new military radio gear for combat operations.

Test flights to decide if loiter attack Munition advances
Article Abstract:
NetFires LLC would conduct tests over the next three months for bringing the Loitering Attack Munition (LAM) missile back into the Non Line of Sight Launch System (NLOS-LS) in 2006. The test would determine whether the Army decides to reinstate an advanced munition to the capability of its next-generation launcher.
