Wal-Mart displays Dr. Scholl's career footwear

Brown Shoe Co has launched the Dr Scholl's Careers Footwear line of women's shoes in Wal-Mart stores. The footwear line is geared for women in the service industry, including restaurant, retail and healthcare workers who are on their feet throughout the day. The shoes contain Dr Scholl's DynaStep Inserts, which have been proven to relieve movement-related pain and fatigue in the foot, knee, leg and lower back. They also have the Shock Reduction Outsole System for reducing heel impact.

Casio displays in-car video entertainment system

Casio Inc engaged the services of Display Technologies in building a unique counter display for its in-car Video Entertainment System. The display simulates the interior of an automobile, featuring full-color silk-screened graphics in reproducing the driver's seat, the road ahead, the rear-view mirror and the dashboard. The Video Entertainment System includes an LCD TV monitor that can be attached to the passenger seat's headrest with mounting brackets.

BarCharts' displays enter new outlets

BarCharts has expanded the retail outlets for its Quick Study Guides from bookstores and office supply stores to include supermarkets, convenience and drug stores. The reference guides serve as course outlines and summaries for more than 200 different subjects ranging from Chemistry to French Grammar. RaeElla Bennardo, National Account Manager for BarCharts, said the company's move would make the study guides available to a lot more people.
