Watchdog opposes foreign Raptor sales in letter to McCain
Article Abstract:
The Project on Government Oversight (POGO), a private government watchdog group, wrote a letter to Sen. John McCain, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, urging the federal government to reject any request by Lockheed Martin Corp. to sell the F-22A Raptor aircraft overseas. POGO feels there is significant risk that once the F-22s are delivered to foreign countries, they may steal the Raptor technology and make their own version.
