Horticulturist Ralph Snodsmith is the host of this live talk show which has a variety of well-known guests. Snodsmith also receives letters requesting answers, as many as 13,000 per week.

Lawn service contracting: threat or opportunity for retailers?

Although lawn care contractors can be a threat to retail nurseries and garden centers, the contractors only have about 20% of the market. This leaves two ways for the retailer to gain; he either enters the business himself, or he caters to the contractor.
