iRadio Telematics system announced by Motorola

Motorola has unveiled the iRadio Telematics System, a wireless stereo package with entertainment, navigation and communication features. The iRadio has voice-recognition capabilities and gives a voice response while simultaneously showing easy-to-glance icons to drivers. It can also be synchronized with personal electronic devices, including cellular phones, personal digital assistants and pagers.

RCA unveils LCOS high-definition television

RCA has launched superlight, flat-screen television receivers that utilize Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology. Called the RCA L50000, the 50-inch widescreen high-definition television (HDTV) display, has been designed to both receive over-the-air and satellite HDTV signals. The company claims that the LCOS technology used by the RCA L50000 will revolutionize the television industry.
