Conductivity, density, and adiabatic compressibility of dodecyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride in aqueous solutions
Article Abstract:
Conductivity, density and adiabatic compressibility of dodecyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride in aqueous solution, under different range of temperatures are studied using the results of conductometric and densitometric measurements. The results displayed a shallow minimum of the critical micelle concentration (cmc) values at twenty-five degree centigrade, whereas the ionization degree of micelles increased and the standard free energy of micellization decreased with the increase in temperature.

Chemical recognition at an atomically flat surface of metal oxide
Article Abstract:
A mixed monolayer of acetate and formate was prepared on an atomically flat surface of titanium oxide and exposed to acetic acid vapor, which resulted in the replacement of a formate by an acetate. A bimolecular intermediate state of the gas-adsorbate exchange was proposed in order to kinetically control the formate replacement.
