Reconstruction in air of an iron passive film formed at -0.4vin a borate buffer solution
Article Abstract:
The reconstruction in air of passive films on iron formed at -0.4v in a borate buffer solution was investigated by STM and galvanostatic cathodic reduction. The reconstruction process remarkably improved the resistance of the passive films against open-circuit breakdown.

EXAFS and XANES study of a pure and Pd doped novel Sn/SnO(sub x) nanomaterial
Article Abstract:
EXAFS and XANES at the Pd and/or Sn K-edge are used to characterize pure and palladium doped spherical particles of a novel Sn/SnO(sub x) nanocomposite. These organic precursors are useful in a new type of high performance solid-state gas sensor.
