A simple route to porous ZnO and ZnCdO nanowires
Article Abstract:
Porous ZnO and ZnCdO nanowires were obtained by a cheap and simple method by thermally oxidizing ZnSe and ZnCdSe precursor nanowoires in air. The morphology of the precursor nanowires was retained after the transformation, despite the changes in crystal structure and chemical composition and the ZnO and ZnCdO nanowires were found to be polycrystalline composed of nanoparticles and nanopores.

Bio-friendly synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles in aqueous solution at near-neutral pH and low temperature
Article Abstract:
ZnO nanoparticles are synthesized in aqueous solution at near-neutral pH and 37 degree C by using a new bio-friendly method. The crystallization method is used to create new hybrids of ZnO by introducing biomolecules during the crystallization.
