A systematic approach
Article Abstract:
Adopting a systemic approach to solving problems with global positioning systems (GPS) contained in modern farm machineries can aid in their smooth functioning. One of the most common problems with GPS systems include the absence of data from the receiver to the computer, a problem that is addresed by ensuring that the unit is powered on, making sure of the connection, verifying the receipt of corrected GPS data, checking the computer program being used, checking if the communication port is open and checking if the correct NMEA message is being sent.
