Atom-resolved surface structures and molecular adsorption on TiO2(001) investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy
Article Abstract:
The well-ordered surface structure was prepared on a rutile TiO2(001) surface and investigated on the atomic scale by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). An added row structure of Ti7O12 had four-fold coordinated and five-fold coordinated Ti atoms, each of which was observed as a bright spot in STM images.

Computer modeling of local level structures in (Ce, Zr) mixed oxide:
Article Abstract:
The verification of several correlations and differences are allowed by the study with atomistic and quantum methods of several ordered CeZrO2.This phase could have different surface acidity and XPS features as well as a smaller band gap in agreement with some experimental observations.
