Basic interactions of water with organic compounds
Article Abstract:
The interactions of water with organic molecules possessing a functional group of ether or a carbonyl group in solution in a hydrophobic medium or n-heptane at various concentrations are studied. The results demonstrated that the hydrophobic isolation method combined with infrared spectroscopy (HIIR) is useful to study basic interactions of water with organic molecules under soft conditions.

Field effect on the singlet and triplet exciton formation in organic/polymeric light-emitting diodes
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted, with a correlated quantum-chemical approach coupled with a first-order perturbation, to investigate the relationship between the formation ratio and the electric field. The result shows that for p-phenylene-vinylene oligomer, the formation ratio of singlet excitons with respect to triplet excitions increases with the electric field.

On the temperature percolation in a w/o microemulsion in the presence of organic derivates of chalcogens
Article Abstract:
The temperature percolation in a w/o microemulsion system comprising of water/bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate sodium, AOT/isooctane affected by the presence of additives are investigated. The findings state the estimated values of the critical exponents are lower than those predicted by the dynamics percolations theory.
