Determination of the dieletric constant of nanoparticles. 1. Dielectric measurements of buckminsterfullerene solutions
Article Abstract:
The static dielectric constant epsilon of buckminsterfullerene C(sub 60) particles is determined in cis-decalin, toluene and 1,2-dichlorobenzene using continuum models for spherical and spherical shell illusions. The conclusion states that viral measurements have a great potential for determining the effective properties of nanoparticles from the properties of nanofilled materials over a range of dilute filer concentrations.

Viscoelastic wormlike micellar solutions made from nonionic surfactants: Structural investigations by SANS and DLS
Article Abstract:
A highly viscoelastic wormlike micellar solution of nonionic surfactants in a dilute region is reported. The results of structural investigations with small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) and the observations using dynamic light scattering (DLS) are presented.
