Effect of high pressure on the second harmonic generation efficiencies of three monoclinic organic compounds
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze the influence of pressure to -90 kbar on the second harmonic generation efficiency for three monoclinic crystals. High pressure was determined in a Merrill-Bassett diamond anvil cell supporting low fluorescent and ultraviolet transmitting diamonds. The intensity increase with pressure was also considered. Results indicated that pressures have a significant effect on the efficiency of organic crystals.

The effects of pressure on the intramolecular proton transfer and charge transfer of 4'-N-dimethylamino-3-hydroxyflavone
Article Abstract:
The effect of pressure on the intramolecular proton transfers and charge transfer of 4'-N-(dimethylamino)-3-hydroxyflavone(I) in five polymeric solvents (PAA, CAC, PAN, and PVCI) is discussed. The intramolecular proton transfer and charge transfer are dependent on solvent, excitation wavelength, and pressure.
