Rings and strain in pure silica zeolites
Article Abstract:
A new method was developed to investigate the stability of rings in pure silica zeolite frameworks where the ring energetics are analyzed and the discussed in terms of local strain in the framework and in terms of geometric variables. This methodology allows differentiating between the strains of rings of a given size in different zeolite structures.

Computational study of location and role of fluoride in zeolite structures
Article Abstract:
Computational techniques are used to study the distribution of fluoride ions in the pure silica IFR, ITH, IWR, STF, and STT zeolite structures. The fluoride distribution in the pure silica IWR structure is studied, where the fluoride experimental location is not fully known.
