Investigation of the morphology of the mesoporous SBA-16 and SBA-15 materials
Article Abstract:
Mesoporous SBA-16 and SBA-15 are studied to control their possible morphologies and SBA-16 is synthesized using a silicon source (tetraethoxysilane, TEOS) and a ternary system consisting of surfactant F127 (EO106PO70EO106), water and butanol. The formation and size of these macrospheres are controlled by variations in the silica concentration.

Modification of MCM-48-, SBA-15-, MCF-, and MSU-type mesoporous silicas with transition metal oxides using the molecular designed dispersion method
Article Abstract:
MCM-48-, SBA-15-, MCF-, and MSU-type are the four mesoporous silicas, which are modified by the molecular designed dispersion method using Fe(acac)(sub 3), Cr(acac)(sub 3) and Cu(acac)(sub 2). The results states that the first three mesoporous silicas show hydrogen bonding whereas the last one showed different acetylacetonate complexes.
