Floating-potential dielectrophoresis-controlled fabrication of single-carbon-nanotube transistors and their electrical properties
Article Abstract:
A floating-potential dielectrophoresis method used for the first time to achieve controlled alignment of an individual semiconducting or metallic single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) between two electrical contacts with high repeatability is presented. The results indicate that bundles of carbon nanotubes along with impurities were first moved into the region between two control electrodes while an individual nanotubes without impurities were straightened and aligned between two floating electrodes.

Single-walled carbon nanotube purification, pelletzation, and surfactant-assisted dispersion: A combined TEM and resonant micro-Raman spectroscopy study
Article Abstract:
The structural changes of three single-walled carbon nanotube samples processed with purification, pelletization, and surfactant-assisted dispersion are characterized by using resonant Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. It was found that single-walled nanotube bundled size decreases during ultrasonication dispersion aided by a surfactant.
