Temperature variation of DC conductivity of poly(3-alkyl thiophenes) and their cocrystals
Article Abstract:
The dc conductivity of poly(3-alkyl thiophenes) (P3ATs) and their cocrystals are measured in the temperature range of -130 to 150 degree Celsius in which both solvent-cast films and the melt-cooled films are used. The solvent-cast films exhibit sharp increase followed by a decrease in conductivity, whereas the metal-cooled films show only a sigmoidal increase in conductivity with temperature.

Thermodynamic behavior of poly(3-alkyl thiopene) blends: Equilibrium cocrystal formation and phase segregation
Article Abstract:
The equilibrium cocrystal formation of poly(3-alkyl thiopene) (P3AT) blends is studied by isothermal cocrystallization in a different scanning calorimeter. The phase diagram nature depends on the regioregularity difference and on the difference in the number of carbon atoms in the pendent alkyl group of the components.

Thermodynamic and structural investigation of thermoreversible poly(3-dodecyl thiophene) gels in the three isomers of xylene
Article Abstract:
Poly(3-dodecyl thiophene) (P3DDT) produces thermoreversible gels in 0-, m-, and p-xylene (Xy). From the thermodynamic study, it is concluded that during gelation of P3DDT-p-xylene systems polymer-solvent complexes are produced.
