Great enhancement of photocatalytic activity of nitrogen-doped titania by coupling with tungsten oxide
Article Abstract:
A simple method is described to improve the photocatalytic activity of nitrogen-doped Ti[O.sub.2] by W[O.sub.3] coupling. The results have shown that the composite photocatalysts present higher photocatalytic activity under both visible and ultraviolet (UV) light irradiation than the Ti[O.sub.2] photocatalyst doped only by nitrogen and W[O.sub.3] increased the nitrogen species sensitive to visible light.

Pressure-induced phase transitions in LiN[H.sub.2]
Article Abstract:
In situ high-pressure Raman spectroscopy studies are performed on lithium amide (LiN[H.sub.2]) at pressures up to 25 GPa in order to identify pressure-induced phase transitions and describe the vibrational behavior of the [[N[H.sub.2]].sup.-] anion complex at higher pressures. The sharpened lattice modes have displayed an orientational ordering of [[N[H.sub.2]].sup.-] ions in the lattice.

Reply to " Comment on photoelectron spectroscopic investigation of nitrogen-doped titania nanoparticles"
Article Abstract:
Reply is given to Gopinath's comment on photoelectronic spectroscopic investigation of titania nanoparticles. Burda and Gole feel that they have comprehensively given details of XPS investigation of photoelectronic spectroscopic investigations of nitrogen-doped titania nanoarticles.
