High magnetization helical carbon nanofibers produced by nanoparticle catalysis
Article Abstract:
Helical carbon nanofibers were synthesized by means of acetylene pyrolysis using Fe nanpoparticles. The carbon nanofibers produced were crystalline and symmetric, with the (110) plane of Fe particle being the mirror plane and the samples containing magnetic iron particles showed higher magnetization.

Amorphous Iron (III) oxide: A review
Article Abstract:
The morphology, magnetic properties, crystallization mechanism and applications of the nanoparticles of amorphous Iron oxide are studied. The size of these amorphous particles predetermines the structure of the initial crystalline polymorph.

Preparation and characterization of monodispersed YSZ nanocrystals
Article Abstract:
A new method is applied for preparation of yttria-stablilized zirconia(YSZ) nanocrystals. While crystallization occurs on the surface and interface of SrCO(sub 3) nanoparticles, the agglomeration of YSZ particles is inhibited.
