High-resolution photoemission study of different NTCDA monolayers on Ag(111): Bonding and screening influences on the shapes
Article Abstract:
A high-resolution X-ray photoemission study on three different NTCDA monolayer films on the Ag(111) surface is presented. The study concluded that potential of high-resolution XPS to distinguish between slightly different adsorbate species even in the case of large organic molecules, which is due to their much larger size as compared to the substrate unit cell, occupy very similar adsorption sites independent of the superstructure.

Magnetic interactions of iron nanoparticles in arrays and dilute dispersions
Article Abstract:
Study on the magnetic properties of monodisperse Fe nanoparticles with over 4 orders of magnitude difference in concentration are carried out. The behavior of diluted dispersions with different concentrations, dispersions, and arrays made from the same particles, and nanoparticle arrays with different particle sizes and separations are compared.

Preparation and characterization of monodisperse Fe nanoparticles
Article Abstract:
The synthesis, structural and chemical characterization of Fe nanoparticles prepared by iron carbonyl decomposition using different methods is reported. The homogeneous and heterogeneous nucleation methods differed greatly in their ability to synthesize large Fe particles (>9 nm).
