Zeolite LTA nanoparticles prepared by laser-induced fracture of zeolite microcrystals
Article Abstract:
Zeolite LTA nanoparticles are prepared by laser-induced fragmentation of zeolite LTA microparticles using a pulsed laser and its formation is attributed to absorption of the laser at impurities or defects within the zeolite microcrystal generating thermoelectic stress. It is experimentally found that nanoparticles have a wide size and morphology distribution.

Crystal structures of zeolite linde type A incorporating K clusters: Dependence on the K atom loading density
Article Abstract:
Rietveld analysis was used to determine crystal structures of K-LTA (linde type A) incorporating K clusters of 0.35-6.4 K atoms per alpha-cage, which show ferromagnetism with the Curie temperature, Tc, up to 8 K. The relationship between the crystal structure and ferromagnetism was discussed on the basis of the crystal data obtained.
