Influence of solvent on the energetics of hole transfer in DNA
Article Abstract:
The contribution of molecular environment to the exchange reactions in the DNA molecule is examined by considering different geometries of the reaction centers in oxidized and reduced states. Each counterion has contributed to the oxidation potential of the 7-8 nearest nucleosides and the irregularity due to phosphate neutralization has not modified the potential profile for the hole migration through the DNA molecule.

Diffusion approach to long distance charge migration in DNA: time-dependent and steady state analytical solutions for the product yields.
Article Abstract:
An analytical solution for unbiased charge transfer through regular DNA sequence via a hopping mechanism for time-dependent and steady state problems is listed. The biggest advantage of this approach is the capability of describing analytically time-resolved and steady state kinetics of charge migration in DNA.

Mechanism of electrophoretic migration of DNA in the cubic phase of pluronic F127 and water
Article Abstract:
The block copolymer pluronic F127 and water form a gel-like cubic phase that melts into an easily handled liquid solution. The conformational state and the mode of electrophoretic migration of double stranded DNA in the cubic gel are studied.
