Interface film resistivities for heat and mass transfers - Integral relations verified by non-equilibrium molecular dynamics
Article Abstract:
The integral relations that predict interface film transfer coefficients for evaporation and condensation were tested, using non-equilibrium molecular dynamics (NEMD) simulations for n-octane and argon-like particles. It presented evidence for the existence of an excess thermal resistivity on the gas side of the surface, and the fact that this property is decisive for interface heat and mass transfer coefficients.

Article Abstract:
Electrochemical impendence spectroscopy experiments are conducted on a microdisk electrode in a thin-layer cell using a scanning electrochemical microscope for controlling the cell geometry. Experimental data showed that when the thin-layer thickness diminished, an additional low-frequency response appeared.
