Ionic conductivity-structure property relationship in gel electrolytes on the basis of oligo(ethylene glycol)23 dimethacrylate plasticized with oligo(ethylene glycol)11 dimethyl ether

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to analyze charge carrier transport in gel electrolytes made by photoinitiated polymerization of oligo(ethylene glycol)23 dimethacrylate during the presence of oligo(ethylene glyco)11 dimethyl ether as plasticizer and LiCF3SO3. Experimental results indicated that the dielectric properties of gel electrolytes correlated with the salt content of the samples and mobility of the polymer chains as carriers of the dipoles.

On the mechanism of ion transport through polyphosphazene solid polymer electrolytes: NMR, IR, and Raman spectroscopic studies and computational analysis of (super 15)N-labeled polyphosphazenes

Article Abstract:

The NMR ((super 1)H, (super 13)C, (super 15)N, and (super 31)P), IR, and Raman spectroscopies and molecular dynamics simulations examining lithium trifluoromethanesulfonate (LiOTf) complexes of (super 15)N-MEEP and N-HPP were performed. The results, experimentally and computationally, show that lithium ion association occurs with the nitrogen nuclei of the polymer backbone.
