High-density assembly of gold nanoparticles on multiwalled carbon nanotubes using 1-pyrenemethylamine as interlinker
Article Abstract:
The assembly of gold nanoparticles on the surface of multiwalled carbon nanotubes using 1-pyrenemethylamine (Py-CH2NH2) as interlinker is described. For electronic connection and molecular sensing the approach to assembling spherical gold nanoparticles can be extended to form CNT-Au nanorod heterojunctions.

Adsorption isotherms and dissipation of adsorbed poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) in its swelling and collapsed states
Article Abstract:
The adsorption isotherms of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) physisorbed on gold surfaces from aqueous solutions with relatively low PNIPAM concentration at temperatures below and above the LCST of the polymer studied by using quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM-D) is reported.
