Characterization of functionalized single-walled carbon nanotubes at individual nanotube-thin bundle level
Article Abstract:
Imaging and analysis of individual and thin bundles of aminopolymer-functionalized single-walled carbon molecules (SWNTs) with related electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) characterization, the specimen subjected to ex situ thermal defunctionalization of specially designed TEM grids is reported. Results obtained before and after the thermal defunctionalization are compared and discussed.

Spectroscopic analysis of single walled carbon nanotubes and semiconjugated polymer composites
Article Abstract:
Interactions between arc discharge single walled carbon nanotubes within polymer composites is discussed. The finding indicates that the selection process is dependant on tube diameter rather than backbone structure.
