Photophysics and electron dynamics in dye-sensitized semiconductor film studied by time-resolved mid-IR spectroscopy
Article Abstract:
Photophysics and electron dynamics in dye-sensitized semiconductor film were studied by transient mid-IR spectroscopy, in particular on the nano-to millisecond time scale. Electrons injected into the conduction band of a semiconductor and the change of vibrant brands due to formation of a cation of a dye molecule. The transient absorption components derived from these two species decayed differently.

Photodynamics of NaTaO3 catalysts for efficient water splitting
Article Abstract:
The Electrons photoexcited in the NaTaO3- based catalysts are observed by time-resolved infrared (IR) absorption spectroscopy. The amount of the electrons in La-doped catalysts showed a correlation with their activity in the steady-state reaction of water splitting, which suggested that those electrons worked in the reaction.
