Reactivity on benzoyl chlorides in nonionic microemulsion: Potential application as indicators of the system properties
Article Abstract:
A study on the reactions of the series of benzoyl chlorides varying the electron-withdrawing character of the substituent in nonionic microemulsion is performed. The study reveals that a variation in the contributions of both reaction pathways associative and dissociative to the whole reaction mechanism and changes in the mechanism can be modulated by modification of the microemulsion composition.

New insights in cyclodextrin: surfactant mixed systems from the use of neutral and anionic cyclodextrin derivatives
Article Abstract:
Various neutral and anionic cyclodextrin (CD) derivatives are used to study the kinetics of the hydrolysis of 4-methoxybenzenesulfonyl chloride (MBSC) in different surfactant mixed systems. The CD derivatives are found to have no effect on the properties of the surfactant micelles.

Change in the acid hydrolysis mechanism of esters enforced by strongly acid microemulsions
Article Abstract:
An analysis explains the various effects of strongly acid microemulsions on the acid hydrolysis mechanism of different esters. The results show that the hydrolysis rate constant at the interface is inversely related to the water content of the system.
