Order and disorder in titanosilicate glass by [super 17]O MAS, off-MAS, and 3Q-QCPMG-MAS solid-state NMR
Article Abstract:
The analysis of an alkali titanosilicate glass, KTS2 ([K.sub.2]O.Ti[O.sub.2].2Si[O.sub.2]), by [super 17]O MAS, off-MAS, and 3Q-QCMG-MAS solid-state NMR spectroscopy which suggest that KTS2 consists of Ti[O.sub.5]-Si[O.sub.4] linkages with [K.sup.+] as the charge balancing ions is reported.

Molecular dynamics simulation of amorphous [SiO.sub.2] nanoparticles
Article Abstract:
The study explains the molecular dynamics simulation of amorphous [SiO.sub.2] nanoparticles under non-periodic boundary conditions. The glass transition temperature of these nanoparticles is found to be linearly dependent on their size.
