Scanning electrochemical microscopy in combination with piezoelectric quartz crystal impedance analysis for studying the growth and electrochemistry as well as microetching of poly(o-phenylenediamine) thin films
Article Abstract:
A new scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) with piezoelectric quartz crystal impedance(PQCI) combination method was demonstrated. This method can provide useful multidimensional information for studying the cyclic voltammetric growth of poly(o-phenylenediamine) thin films at gold electrodes in acidic, neutral, and alkaline aqueous solutions and the microetching of these films.

Measurements of transient membrane potential after current switch-off as a tool to study the electrochemical properties of supported thin nanoporous layers
Article Abstract:
The potential of chronopotentiometry after current switch-off as a tool for electrochemical characterization of thin supported nanoporous layers is studied. The measurements carried out with a commercial nanofiltration membrane have revealed that the technique can yield consistent results especially in not too dilute electrolyte solutions.
