Self-assembly of amphiphilic ABC star triblock copolymers and their blends with AB diblock copolymers in solution: Self-consistent field theory
Article Abstract:
The self-consistent field theory (SCFT) simulations are used to investigate the self-assembled morphologies of the amphiphilic ABC star triblock polymers and the blends with their counterpart linear AB diblock copolymers. The results demonstrate that the addition of the linear AB diblock copolymers highly affect the aggregate morphology of the triblock polymer, as it leads to the shortening of the long segmented worms to form hamburger micelles.

Amphiphilic block copolymer nanotubes and vesicles stabilized by photopolymerization
Article Abstract:
A method is described for stabilizing nanotube and vesicle structures created from amphiphilic diblock copolymers by means of photopolymerization. It is seen that the spatial control afforded by focusing the initiating light source enables stabilization of distinct segments of individual nanostructures.
