Nanocomposite polymer electrolytes based on poly(oxyethylene) and cellulose nanocrystals
Article Abstract:
Lithium-conducting nanocomposite polymer electrolytes based on high molecular weight poly(oxyethylene) are prepared from high aspect ration cellulosic whiskers and lithium imide LiTFSI salt. The thermomechanical behavior of the resulting films is investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis and dynamics mechanical analysis.

Conductivities and transport properties of gelled electrolytes with and without an ionic liquid for Li and Li-ion batteries
Article Abstract:
Conductivity and transport properties are determined for gelled polymer electrolytes of three compositions. It was found that VTF equation resulted in an excellent fit to the temperature dependence of the transport number, which is another confirmation of a free volume model for transport in these gelled polymer electrolytes.
