Supramolecular association in the system water-lysozyme-lithium perfluorononanoate
Article Abstract:
The ternary system containing water, lithium perfluorononanoate (LiPFN), and lysozyme (LYS) are analyzed and the region of existence of the different phases is determined. The results obtained from various experiments are discussed in terms of a combination of electrostatic and hydrophobic contributions to the stability of the different phases formed in the water-LYS-LiPFN system.

Correlation between molecular size and packing density of solvents
Article Abstract:
Correlation between the packing density and the diameter of solvents generally holds irrespective of the Scaled particle theory (SPT) is discussed. Hydrophobicity or solvophobicity can be examined by the large deviation of packing density from a hypothetical solvent with the same size and less cohesive energy density (ced).
