Temperature dependence of the field effect mobility of solution-grown germanium nanowires
Article Abstract:
The temperature dependence of the field effect mobility was measured for solution-grown single crystal Ge nanowires. The temperature dependent source/ drain current-voltage measurements under applied gate potential revealed that the field effect mobility increased with increasing temperature, indicating that the carrier mobility through the nanowire is probably dominated either by a hopping mechanism or by trapped charges in fast surface states.

Bond character of thiophene on Ge(100): Effects of coverage and temperature
Article Abstract:
The adsorption and decomposition of thiophene (C4H4S) on Ge(100) is studied using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), high-resolution core-level photoemission spectroscopy (HRPES), and density functional theory (DFT) calculation. Results reveal that the number ratio of the three adsorption geometries depended on the molecular coverage and the annealing temperature.

Study of adsorption and decomposition of H2O on Ge(100)
Article Abstract:
The adsorption and decomposition of water on Ge(100) was investigated using real-time scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and density-functional theory (DFT) calculations. The STM results revealed two distinct adsorption features of H2O on Ge(100) corresponding to molecular adsorption and H-OH dissociative adsorption.
