Ultrafast excited-state isomerization dynamics of 1,1'-diethyl-2,2'-cyanine studied by four-wave mixing spectroscopy
Article Abstract:
The time-integrated three-pulse photon-echo spectroscopy was used investigate excited-state dynamics and solvent-solute interactions of 1,1'-diethyl-2,2'-cyanine iodine (1122C) in alcoholic solutions. The wavelength-dependent three-pulse photon-echo peak shift has shown strong changes of the reaction pathways and has pointed to the existence of a direct internal conversion channel in close proximity to the Franck-Condon point of absorption.

Crystalline and solution phases in N,N,N',N',N''-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine with LiCF3SO3 and NaCF3SO3
Article Abstract:
Linear poly(N-methylethylenime), LPMEI, a methylated derivative of linear poly (ethylenimine), shows potential as a polymer electrolyte host. In (PMDETA) NaTf, the difference in the symmetries of the two kinds of dimers does not greatly affect their bond angles and lengths, and therefore, these differences are not apparant in the IR or Raman spectra.

Spectroscopic units in conjugated polymers: a quantum chemically founded concept?
Article Abstract:
Spectroscopic properties of the polymer are used to explain the spectral heterogeneity and the excitation migration by hopping transfer. The conclusion states that a dynamic localization of excitation due to the interaction between the nuclear and electronic degrees of freedom is responsible for the formation of the spectroscopic units.
