Vibrational spectroscopic studies on interactions in PEO-NaSCN-urea composites
Article Abstract:
The poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)-NaSCN SPEs (solid polymer electrolytes) were studied on the basis of the vibrational spectroscopy with differential thermal analysis (DTA) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements and the effect of U/(thiourea) TU content on the ion association and interactions in PEO-NaSCN-U/TU composites is discussed. PEO-NaSCN-thiourea composites possess an amorphous characteristic and can be used to prepare 'salt-in-polymer' electrolytes.

Wide scale range structure in polyelectrolyte-protein dense complexes: Where sans meets freeze-fracture microscopy
Article Abstract:
A combination of SANS and freeze-fracture electron microscopy (FFEM) is found to be a powerful tool to picture the structure of very turbid sample liquids at spatial scales. The existence of aggregates is observed by FFEM and it has also shown the lack of any further structure at larger scale, up to micrometer size.
